About the role

As part of the role, you will operate a gang mowing tractor to maintain high-quality sports field surfaces. When not operating mowing equipment, you will support the sportsgrounds team by assisting with a range of grounds maintenance tasks across various projects.


About you

We are looking for a motivated plant operator with experience using tractors and maintaining open spaces. You are someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives outdoors in all conditions, and takes pride in the quality and presentation of your work. You are adaptable, hardworking, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

If you’re passionate about maintaining sporting fields and open spaces and are looking for a stable, long-term role, we’d love to hear from you.


In addition, you will also have:

  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • It is desirable that you hold a Certificate III in Horticulture, Greenkeeping or similar or have experience in a related area
  • WHS General Induction Certificate
  • Experience operating tractors and sportsground maintenance equipment
  • Strong safety and teamwork focus

Your commencing salary will be in the range $54,496.80 to $62,671.32 p.a + superannuation, dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
