Plasterer

Tasks & responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Plasterer who will be responsible for:

▪     Applying various types of solid plaster, including Venetian plaster and cement render, to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth or decorative finishes.
▪    Executing detailed plastering work, including the application of decorative finishes, ornate detailing, and cornice rectification to achieve precise and aesthetically pleasing results.
▪    Utilising a wide range of solid plastering applications, demonstrating high proficiency in their application and finishing techniques.
▪    Communicating effectively with engineers and other on-site personnel to discuss project requirements, specifications, and progress.
▪    Organising materials, tools, and work schedules to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects, demonstrating high organisational skills.
▪    Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and maintain a steady workflow, showcasing excellent time management skills.
▪    Performing surface preparation tasks, such as cleaning, sanding, and priming, to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
▪    Mixing and applying solid plastering compounds, ensuring the correct consistency and application for different surfaces and finishes.
▪    Repairing and restoring damaged solid plasterwork, matching textures and finishes to the original surface.
▪    Adhering to safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
