ABOUT THE POSITION.

The Principal Environmental Scientist will oversee and direct intricate environmental initiatives, deliver expert technical guidance, and play a key role in advancing the company's sustainable growth and esteemed reputation for excellence.

DUTIES.

  • Lead environmental assessments, site investigations, and remediation projects
  • Contribute to proposals by developing discipline execution strategies
  • Manage, and cultivate a highly motivated team of environmental engineers and scientists
  • Provide discipline supervision for large or multiple smaller projects from start to finish
  • Prepare and review project proposal, technical assessment and report writing
  • Support business development activities
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Relevant Degree Qualifications in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and business development
  • Extensive experience within contaminated land projects, with a focus on Sydney and New South Wales conditions
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
