My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing the collection of customer requirements, developing supplier requirements, and localising components for various projects. This position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, communication with stakeholders, and resource management to ensure project success.

Your new role

• Distil customer requirements from provided product specification documentation.
• Develop comprehensive component quotation packs, including requirements flow downs, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Undertake supplier selection and qualification for components.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Manage supplier relationships to meet project cost, time, and quality targets.
• Assist in preparing customer reports and data items as required.
• Stakeholder communication
• Risk management
• Monitor project performance to ensure quality standards are met.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to obtain clearance - Australian Citizenship
• Experience in component manufacturing design or CNC manufacturing
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Proven component sourcing
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver on customer requirements
