Job Description
We're on the hunt for a sharp, strategic, and collaborative Product Owner to join our dynamic team and take charge of shaping the future of our innovative software products. In this role, you’ll own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for high-impact software initiatives. You’ll lead the charge in defining and prioritising product requirements, managing a healthy backlog, and ensuring development efforts stay aligned with our strategic goals.
You’ll be the glue between developers, designers, stakeholders, and end users—facilitating agile ceremonies, refining requirements, and driving delivery that exceeds expectations. From sprint planning and stand-ups to retrospectives, your leadership will keep the team focused, adaptive, and continuously improving.
Your day-to-day will involve leading scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation for large and often complex initiatives, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined and managed throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll act as the voice of the customer, bringing insights from feedback, usage data, and market research into every stage of the product journey. Working across internal and external teams, you’ll plan and maintain a product roadmap that is tightly aligned with strategic business goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex requirements into actionable user stories.Technical understanding of the product domain and effective communication with development teams.Experience managing the product development life cycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance.Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Product Owner) are preferred but not mandatory.Previous experience working in federal government
