Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Owner – InsightVision User Interface to join our digital team in our Melbourne office. Be part of the development of innovative products/services for our clients that brings together the power of technology and advances in IoT with strong domain engineering.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Lead the development and enhancement of the user interface for InsightVision
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (business/product leadership, technical leads and SMEs and our customers) to define user stories, requirements, and product features.
• Work closely with SMEs to understand the domain-specific needs and translate them into actionable UI/UX designs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support user testing and gather feedback to refine the UI and ensure it aligns with customer needs and expectations
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog in coordination with the Product Director.
• Ensure consistent and intuitive design and functionality across the platform's UI
• Develop and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with peers and stakeholders
• Continually build your knowledge of GHD’s business and technologies and keep up to date on industry trends and technology trends

What you will bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a product ownership or product management role, ideally with a focus on UI/UX design
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and domain SMEs.
• Exposure to industrial IoT platforms or similar technologies is beneficial.
• Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex user requirements into simple and actionable product features.
