About the Position

The Individual Support Services (ISS) program works in partnership with Child Safety to provide holistic trauma-informed support to children in the child protection system.

We are looking to welcome a Program Manager to provide leadership and practice support to a multi-disciplinary team, proactively tender for new packages and build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Full time permanent opportunity.
  • Level 8 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is 124,844 - $129,764 + Super.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, professional support and quality management of the Individual Support Services program.
  • Line management responsibilities of ISS team members that may include Team Leaders, Allied Health Practitioners and other specialist roles.
  • Build relationships with key partners to ensure the achievement of outcomes for individual children and the program.
  • Implement and monitor the use of a shared practice framework that includes assessment and evidence - informed interventions.

About You

  • A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
  • At least five (5) years’ experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a similar program and environment.
  • Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
  • Experience and capacity to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, partners and the community.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
