About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Site Manager Assistant to support our project delivery team at Quercus Building Group. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Senior Site Managers to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects, focusing on administrative coordination, on-site support, and compliance monitoring. This position offers hands-on learning opportunities with a clear pathway to advance into senior site management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

・Assist in overseeing daily construction operations under Site Manager supervision

・Support project planning, progress tracking, and budget monitoring activities

・Help coordinate communication between architects, engineers, and subcontractors

・Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols (training provided)

・Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety checklists, and progress photos

・Assist with quality control checks against NCC and Australian Standards

・Monitor material deliveries and inventory management

・Help organize site meetings and prepare meeting minutes

・Provide administrative support for permit applications and compliance paperwork

・Escalate critical issues to Site Manager with proposed solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

・Progress toward Domestic Builder Licence (Unlimited) or relevant construction certifications

・1+ years experience in construction site operations (residential projects preferred)

・Working knowledge of Australian building codes and WHS regulations

・Basic proficiency with construction software (Builder Trend/HazardCo training available)

・Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and specifications

・Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail

・Current Victorian Driver's Licence
