About The OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Maritime Sustainment program delivery team at Garden Island, NSW.
The Capability Lifecyle Manager (CLCM) program works with Defence, Australian Navy, and Defence Industry partners to deliver project management services sustaining the Royal Australian Navy' Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG) into the next future.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will work as part of the BusinessOperations Team to ensure reporting and support services associated with the program is achieved to deliver contracted and business goals.
The Project Coordinator is a proactive member of the DDG CLCM, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver key deliverables to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA). The has excellent exposure to stakeholders across the program.

Key responsibilities include:
Coordination of assigned activities in support of the Business Operations team, including developing and maintaining procedures and continuous improvementCoordination of activities using developed communication and liaison skills to achieve a satisfactory outcomeCoordination of activities to configure and improve business tools including;SharepointConfluenceJira Preparation and coordination of reports, presentations and KPIs as required, including active management of action register and support to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles.
Assist in preparation and coordination of the following reports to the CoA:Combined Services Summary Report (CSSR)Contract Status Report (CSR)Support Services Verification Matrix (SSVM)Operational Sustainment Management Meeting (OSMM)
Assist in the preparation and coordination of the following reports to the Business:Project Performance Review Pack (PPRP)Business Unit review (BUR)Monthly Business Review (MBR)
Assist in the delivery and tracking of contracted deliverables across the programCoordination of the program Risk and Opportunities frameworkOrganise and facilitate the monthly meetingsTake notes for the meetingLiaise with the PM function on policy and best practice
About YOU
Qualifications in Project Management (desirable)Demonstrated relevant experience in project coordination or strong administrative backgroundAbility to manage conflicting priorities with superb communication & stakeholder management skillsKeen eye for detail, able to see patterns and provide insight to senior managementStrong Excel and Word editing skillsExperience with Jira, Confluence, or SharePointBaseline Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
