Project Manager
A valued client of Design & Build is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. Our client is a national head contractor within the commercial construction space. It is required that the successful applicant have recent and relevant new build and/or fitout experience.
Design & Builds client has an industry leading workplace culture and delivers all projects to spec and on time. All the while, offering superior service and quality. The successful applicant could find themselves working across a diverse mix of projects including commercial, health, education, retail and government construction projects. You will find yourself emerged within an experienced and supportive senior and executive leadership team.
Role & Responsibilities
You will be reporting to and working directly with the Construction Manager and working on projects in the commercial new build and/or fitout space ranging from $2-30mill.
Executing project delivery strategyEnsuring all financial project reports are reviewed for accuracy and profitabilityStakeholder engagement and managementProgram/schedule management Control of all subcontractorsFinancial management and budgetingIdentifying and reporting risk where relevant, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practicesAssisting with preparation and attending client pitches and presentations
Experience
Recent and relevant Commercial new build and/or fit-out experience with the ability to potentially juggle multiple projectsStrong proven track record in the construction industry Knowledge of AU building code; regulatory requirements, AU Construction law and local practices, AU Health and Safety standardsConstruction planning, estimating, budgeting, and forecasting experienceBe comfortable pitching and presenting to new and existing clientsWillingness to buy into and add to the company culture
