The role

Property and Support services is the engine room that keeps us going, a dynamic team that supports the operations of Crown hotels and resorts.

An exciting opportunity to work within the Crown Maintenance Department in the position of Property Services Officer – Rotating Shift has become available. In this role, you will be working in a multi skilled position within a small team of trades and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, projects and repairs of building equipment, fixtures and hardware within our complex.

In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Planned & reactive maintenance activities across the property and associated areas such as gaming floors
• Always delivering exceptional customer experience whilst liaising with internal/external stakeholders
• Completing work orders assigned as well as reporting on maintenance required through proactive inspections
• Following established health and safety policies and procedures, and identify health and safety risks
• Remain compliant with Crown’s compliance training, policies and procedures.
• Operate on Crown’s maintenance portal to record and complete work orders/tasks.

About you

You’ll bring the following:

• Ability to work FT across a rotating roster including overnights and weekends
• Significant experience in trades/maintenance work around carpentry/plumbing/electrical in a large-scale complex is highly desirable 
• Dedication towards achieving an outstanding result and service excellence whilst working in a team as well as autonomously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee License (required Police Check and Credit Check)
