Public Art Project Manager
Summary: Lead and manage public art projects for a vibrant city, ensuring artistic integrity and community engagement.
About the Role: Manage collection management projects and the design and construction of public art projects to support the City's Public Art Program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare briefs for complex public art, conservation, and collection management projects.
- Manage community and stakeholder engagement and consultation.
- Deliver high-quality reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Coordinate and update public art and cultural heritage asset management data systems.
- Manage procurement requirements and monitor supplier performance.
- Develop and manage contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.
- Oversee all aspects of project life cycles with appropriate governance, financial, and risk controls.
- Update the manager on project status, key issues, and strategies.
- Ensure safety through design and on-site within WHS and EEO policies.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in Public Art, Arts Management, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Heritage, Conservation, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in collection and asset management of public art.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in delivering projects with a budget of $200,000 or more.
- Sound knowledge and experience in managing project risks, finances, and contract administration.
