Qualified Painters - FIFO or DIDO - Government Facility

We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Painters for a short-term project with the WA Country Health Service across multiple regional locations.

In this role, you will carry out general painting and maintenance across healthcare buildings and facilities. You will also be responsible for reporting faults and assisting with overall asset upkeep in a team environment.

• FIFO or DIDO options available

• Accommodation, work vehicle, and $100 daily food allowance provided

• 10-hour shifts

• Immediate start | Contract until end of June 2025

  Rosters:

  • FIFO: 2 weeks on / 1 week off

  • DIDO: 8 days on / 6 days off

Requirements - Essential

• Trade Qualification in Painting

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including one booster)

• Knowledge of relevant building and safety regulations

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Effective time management and problem-solving skills

• Current C or C-A Class Driver’s Licence

• Experience with general building and facilities maintenance

Desirable 

• Previous experience in hospital or healthcare environments 

• Familiarity with computerised building management systems (e.g., paging, nurse call, security)
