Quality Assurance Officer Civil Subdivisions Location: Toowoomba, QLD Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Officer to support the delivery of civil subdivision projects across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. About the Role: As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will assist project teams to ensure all civil works meet council standards, engineering designs, and client expectations. You'll be responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, and helping to embed quality processes across multiple residential and commercial subdivision projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and maintaining Quality Management Plans (QMPs)Conduct site quality inspections and audits during constructionSupport the preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)Monitor subcontractor performance and raise any non-conformancesLiaise with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and local authoritiesKeep accurate quality records for project handovers and council approvalsHelp identify improvement opportunities and promote a quality-first culture onsite About You: Experience in civil construction, ideally within subdivisions or infrastructure projectsGood understanding of Toowoomba Regional Council, DTMR, and relevant standardsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and ITPsStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving quality issuesCertificate III or IV in Civil Construction, Quality Auditing, or a related qualification (preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced site environmentCurrent drivers license (essential) Benefits: Work on high-quality subdivision projects in the Toowoomba regionBe mentored by senior civil engineers and project managersCompetitive salary and career development pathwaysSupportive and inclusive team culture How to Apply: If you're ready to build your career in quality assurance with a strong local contractor, we'd love to hear from you.
