Department and location: Day Procedure Centre, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst 

Salary: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 + super

About the role 

  • A busy Day Procedure Centre as part of St Vincent’s Hospital major tertiary referral centre.

  • Caring for patients pre-operatively and post operatively for interventional procedures including endoscopy, operating theatres, interventional cardiology and the pre-admission clinic.

  • Rotating roster, Monday to Friday, morning and evening shifts.

  • One additional day off per month and 15% loading on annual leave taken.

About you 

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

  • Demonstrated minimum 12 months post graduate experience within an acute care setting.

  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.

  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
