About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of the Registry Officer is to assist in the resolution of simple disputes and provide a case management service from lodgment to closure of an application.
The role will also provide prompt front-end services and
accurate information to the public via telephone, electronic
channels and face-to-face in the South Australian Employment
Tribunal (SAET).
Some of the responsibilities include:
• Provide high quality administrative support
• Assist applicants who cannot use the online application form
to complete routine applications.
• Be proactive in providing information and assistance to all
SAET users promptly and in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ensure prompt updating and uploading of case related
documentation into the case management system.
• Assist with production of correspondence and orders as
required.
• Monitor and review quality assurance processes and
systems.
• Make recommendations for improvements to quality assurance
processes and systems.
• Assist with coverage and team rotation, including managing
reception and telephone enquiries as required.
• Foster and maintain working relationships with team members,
counterparts in other business units and internal/external
stakeholders.
• Embrace diversity and cultural differences in the
workplace.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
