Our vision is to help all 60 000 people, and we have now helped more than 20000 - more than 1 in every 3 people, and we will not stop until we have helped positively influence everyone in our beautiful region!We are ideally located in a large 250m2 purpose built facility, directly opposite beautiful Scarborough Beach, where our team members spend many of their lunchtimes. In a historic building that has been refitted with 9 large, private airconditioned consult rooms (each clinician has their own room) and a rehab gym fitted out with the most modern equipment, we boast one of the most visually impressive clinics in Brisbane.Our team of 5 physios is the most experienced in the region, with almost 50 years of combined clinical experience. We have an experienced massage team of 2 remedial massage therapists operating across 2 rooms and we have plenty more demand for another massage therapist. We catch up daily to discuss our most complex patients, and help each other to develop both professionally and personally.This role has become available as one of our massage therapists has moved into a different role, and we have an opening for our new remedial massage therapist for anywhere from 12 to 25 hours a week, worked over up to 3 days, with the opportunity for more hours as you build your caseload.Our friendly and supportive admin team comprises a strong team of 4 admin with a dedicated practice manager to help you with your needs and the help of a virtual admin to help you fill missed appointments, cancellations and keep your diary full.We are the premium physiotherapy and allied health provider in our region, with a caseload of predominantly private clients who enjoy our physio, massage and acupuncture services, and are prepared to spend the necessary time, effort and money on optimising their health. This is a feature that physios who have come from other clinics often comment on - "the patients come back and they are happy to do what I recommend that they do, which is refreshing!". Our massage prices are amongst the highest in the region meaning you earn the best rate possible.With a strong, stable and loyal team of 15 people (5 physios, 2 remedial massage therapists, 2 psychologists, a pilates instructor and our admin team) we participate in quarterly whole team events, social events, we have external educators attend our clinic to run courses, and we are an environment of high performance.The positionAs a remedial massage therapist at Scarborough Physio and Health this is a casual role, but for the right person we are willing to offer you any hours that may work for you (based on availability of rooms). Currently we have room availability Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For the right person this role can become permanent after a minimum of 12 months.Your caseload will be predominantly clients with musculoskeletal pain, with a large proportion of these clients of our existing physios.
