Research Analyst - Real Estate

Your role

Are you an expert in assessing value and risk? Do you enjoy giving advice, as well as educating? We’re looking for an Associate Research Analyst to:

• conduct valuation analysis focusing on the Real Estate sector

• convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions

• build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections

• provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Australian Equities Research team in Sydney. We provide investment insights to domestic and international institutional clients and have been consistently rated as Australia's leading team. You’ll play an important role in analysing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations.

Your expertise

• ideally 1-3 years of experience in sell-side research, buy-side research, investment banking, management consulting, or accounting

• a good understanding of and hands-on exposure to the Real Estate sector in Australia would be advantageous

• excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels

• confidence in interpreting public company information such as annual reports, financial statements, and strategy presentations

• fluency in communicating fundamental views on company value drivers

• success in building and maintaining financial valuation models and other data sets

• skills to efficiently produce a high standard of client-ready outputs.
