ACCIONA COBRA JV – Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ)

The ACEREZ consortium, which includes the ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), has been appointed Preferred Proponent to design and construct the transmission line infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), as part of Australia’s energy transition, outlined in the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.

The new transmission infrastructure, which will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the state’s newly legislated Net Zero targets.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Resourcing Specialist to support high-volume blue-collar recruitment for this major infrastructure project. This full-time, Sydney-based role focuses on administration and coordination, ensuring a seamless hiring process for site-based roles.

Working closely with the recruitment and HR teams, you will manage workforce mobilisation, ensuring all processes are followed efficiently to meet project demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support bulk hiring for blue-collar roles across the project.
  • Manage recruitment administration, including contracts, compliance checks, and onboarding documentation.
  • Track and maintain workforce data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Support onboarding processes, ensuring all new hires are job-ready.
  • Liaise with internal teams to align workforce planning with project requirements.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume recruitment administration, ideally for blue-collar roles.
  • Strong organisational and process management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and applicant tracking software (ATS).
  • Understanding of employment compliance and onboarding requirements for blue-collar roles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
