As a manager in Upper Deck you will:
help lead and train our front-of-house team in all areas of restaurant operations will embrace our workplace culture with your positive and supportive leadership inspire your team to provide only the best experience for our guests,
be naturally warm and genuine in their service and style, be flexible, adaptable and responsive to business needs be committed to excellence and delivering results.
Every day is different but the key aspects of the role include: Training, mentoring and supporting staff to create a high performing team and uphold our exceptional food and service standards Having an eye for detail across all aspects of service while maintaining efficient operations and smooth service flow.
Reacting quickly and professionally as needed to uphold excellence in service standards, food quality and the guest experience. Manage staffing levels and labour cost while on shift. Perform all required operational duties including stock management, pre and post service briefings, opening and closing the venue, financial reporting and overseeing compliance in all areas of accountability
Skill and experience - what we’re looking for: 2+ years of experience in an a la carte restaurant setting Ability to lead a premium dining room with confidence
Excellent communication skills Strong food and wine knowledge, with a keen eye for detail WSET training is a benefit, but not required
