Petron Australia Pty Ltd of Ampol Petroleum, a locally owned fuel, oil and retail company invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Retail Manager at our busy store in Ulladulla NSW 2539. This is an excellent opportunity to run this site on your own with the support and backing from a family-owned business with an outstanding reputation and strong team environment. This is full-time long-term position with relocation assistance available to Ulladulla and access to use the sites vehicle.
We are looking for a Retail Manager with a minimum of 1 years of full time/equivalent experience who enjoys motivating and inspiring others, highly organised, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic who loves customer service and is not afraid of leading by example. The role requires you to undertake merchandising and rotation of stock, therefore you must be physically capable of undertaking heavy lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time.
The site operates Beacon POS and back-office systems.
Previous knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of fuel industry point of sale and back-office systems and compliance requirements is essential.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of the efficient operation of the site including but not limited to
Console operation, customer service
Equipment maintenance and monitoring of electrical and pump equipment.
Store administrations, including daily reports, money handling, balancing, banking and reconciliation Daily fuel monitoring, dips and meter reads
Stocktaking and reconciliation
High level computer skills including EXCEL The ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines A genuine desire to work hard and succeed Excellent communication skills
Maintaining exceptional customer experience A strong, team-based work ethic Maintaining exceptional customer experience A strong, team-based work ethic
Staff recruitment, training, mentoring and motivation
Ensuring that all operations of the store are running smoothly Liaising with suppliers, vendors, internal and external accountants Driving profitability and minimising costs, expenses, and waste Rosters
Rotational weekend shifts, flexibility in work hours and after-hours availability Food Safety Certificate, desirable
