About the role

MLP Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our team in Geelong, VIC. As a Roof Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring they are watertight and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a leading roofing company.

What you'll be doing

• Measuring, cutting, and installing all aspects of metal roofing.

• Repairing and maintaining existing roofing systems, including fixing leaks and replacing worn or damaged components

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving roofing issues to ensure the integrity and longevity of the roofing system

• Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as roofers and builders, to complete complex roofing projects

• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

• Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with clients throughout the project

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in plumbing, such as a Certificate III in Plumbing

• Extensive experience as a Roof Plumber, with a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve roofing issues

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
