Position Overview:
The Roster and Admin Coordinator will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our NDIS services by managing rosters and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of care to our clients. This position requires a highly organized individual who is detail-oriented and able to coordinate and schedule care staff, maintain accurate records, and provide essential support to our participants and staff.
- Roster Management:
- Create, update, and manage staff rosters in accordance with client needs and staff availability.
- Ensure that shifts are adequately staffed, and there is appropriate coverage for all clients.
- Communicate with care staff to confirm their schedules, address any changes, and resolve staffing issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with staffing regulations and best practices for NDIS service provision.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update client and staff records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with NDIS participant documentation, including service agreements, assessments, and progress notes.
- Provide administrative support to the management team, such as preparing reports, managing correspondence, and filing documentation.
- Assist and maintaining financial records related to NDIS services and participants.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for staff, clients, and external stakeholders regarding scheduling and administrative queries.
- Coordinate with external service providers, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure clients receive the appropriate support.
- Manage any escalated issues regarding rostering or service delivery and work with relevant teams to resolve them efficiently.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with NDIS policies and regulations, including the management of rostering and administrative documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports for management, including staff hours, client schedules, and any issues that may affect service delivery.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection in all administrative processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the healthcare or disability sector.
- Experience with rostering or scheduling software.
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and NDIS compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour
