A sales and marketing manager plans and evaluates marketing and sales strategies to generate revenue for their business. They do this by marketing a product or service and converting any leads into sales. Sales and marketing managers also research and develop new business opportunities, so it's important to stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, and monitor competitors and industry developments. Sales and marketing managers usually manage two specific teams, sales and marketing, both of which have specific duties and responsibilities.

Task & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth targets in the luxury home construction market
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including engaging high-net-worth individuals and prospective luxury homebuyers to expand our client base
  • Sales Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial client inquiry and consultation through to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a high conversion rate and an exceptional customer experience throughout
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, real estate agents, and other partners to generate referrals and foster repeat business
  • Marketing Campaigns: Design, oversee, and execute effective marketing campaigns across digital and print channels (social media, web, brochures, advertising) to position Dream Homes Custom Build as a leader in the luxury housing market
  • Online Presence: Manage the company’s online presence including website content, SEO/SEM, and social media platforms to drive brand awareness, web traffic, and lead generation
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team (including coordinating with any external agencies or contractors), fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve targets and deliver impactful campaigns
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance data (e.g. lead flow, conversion rates, customer feedback, market trends) and provide insights to refine strategies for continuous improvement
  • Reporting & Budgets: Prepare sales forecasts and marketing budgets, and report on sales pipeline and campaign performance to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals
  • Events & Networking: Organize and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and open house presentations to promote our brand and network with potential clients and industry stakeholders
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, including some time in a managerial or team leadership role
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and meet sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach staff to achieve results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to building relationships
  • Solid analytical skills and a data-driven mindset; comfortable using CRM systems and marketing analytics tools to drive decision-making
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools (social media, SEO, email marketing, etc.) as well as traditional marketing channels
  • Knowledge of or experience in the residential construction or real estate industry is highly regarded
  • Creative thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
