A fulltime opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Sales team at our foodservice branch located in Richlands
About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be required to support the Sales Manager and Sales Team to grow sales and market share in a fast evolving hospitality space. Time management, ability to work within processes, flexibility to assist with urgent tasks as they arrive, networking and creative ability are the key attributes required to be successful within this role.
Duties:
Attend regular sales meetings with the sales team to ensure knowledge, sales and monthly focus
Liaise with suppliers regarding rebates, supplier presentations & more
Run monthly reports for both key customers & sales reps relating to missed sales and customer price rises.
Utilising internal platforms to perform gap analysis to identify opportunity for growth
Identifying new business opportunities & cold calling potential new open leads for Sales team
Assist clients regarding online ordering, quotes, setting up new accounts, welcoming them to Bidfood.
Support the sales team with preparing quotations & setting up appointments.
Daily processing of set tasks outlined by the Sales Manager
Load & maintain pricing contracts including refunds and rebates.
Coordinate with the Sales Manager promotional activities such as specials, promotions and incentives.
Represent, publish and promote our brands within every possible opportunity.
Skills and Experience:
Confident phone manner, excellent communication and superior customer service skills
The ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with both the sales team & customers
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi task
Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
Excellent computer literacy across Microsoft applications also including the ability to quickly learn internal platforms
