What you'll contribute to


As a Security Architect, you'll be at the heart of designing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions for Toyota's Security Program. Your expertise will guide our security architecture across a complex, multi-vendor, and multi-cloud environment.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead with Vision: Direct teams and stakeholders to implement security systems that align with our strategic IT security objectives, ensuring compliance and contributing to Toyota's long-term goals.
  • Innovate Security Architectures: Design and evolve security architectures and roadmaps to enhance Toyota's enterprise security posture and resilience.
  • Foster Strong Relationships: Build and maintain robust relationships across business units to support governance frameworks, reduce risk, and enable secure global operations.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with technical leads and solution architects to define security requirements and ensure compliance with standards like ISO27001 and NIST CSF.
  • Engage with Partners: Work with external partners to deliver secure, cost-effective IT Security capabilities, managing third-party risks and building strategic partnerships.

Your attributes. If you have one more, we would love to hear from you!

  • Degree in IT or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Professional certification highly regarded (e.g. CISSP, SABSA, CISM, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies across enterprise and cloud environments, including hybrid architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience with common frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, ITIL.
  • Deep understanding of key security domains: identity and access management (IAM), SIEM, PKI, endpoint protection, PCI-DSS, federation/SSO, PAM, RBAC, and firewall architecture.
