ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for passionate, customer experience-focused security guards with a genuine interest and or love of always taking care of people and ensuring their safety. A clear understanding of diversity and inclusion is a must, as is a sympathetic and caring attitude towards others. An understanding of both the live music industry and the night-time economy is highly desirable, as is the ability to adapt quickly and calmly to any situation that may arise in these types of environments.

This role requires a high level of patience and understanding, as you’ll be in direct contact with a diverse range of individuals.

You will be expected to:

Lead in the execution of an outstanding customer experience:

- Always greet patrons warmly, smile and make them feel welcome

- Be willing and able to talk to patrons and members of the public in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner

- Get to know the regulars, their faces, and their names (interact with them)

- Understand the environment in which you operate in

- Promote equality, inclusivity, and diversity

- If a patron makes a complaint, we learn from the compliant and do better next time

Provide a safe and inclusive venue for all:

- Build an environment based on empathy

- Embrace people that are different to you

- Be compassionate and caring of other people’s needs

- Be open and supportive of others when they express themselves freely

- Look out for each other, be kind and always show respect

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Current New South Wales Class 1A Security License

- Current New South Wales Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate

- Current First Aid certificate

- Current Australian Business Number (ABN) or willing to obtain one

- A solid understanding of diversity and inclusion

- Dedicated and passionate approach to the safety of others

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- The ability and motivation to work late nights

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $69.00 per hour
