Senior Accountant

Job Description This is a remote position. Job Overview Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a talent for ensuring financial data accuracy to create valuable insights? You will be reporting directly to the PieLAB Financial Controller, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure financial accuracy and provide valuable insights. This role requires a proactive accountant with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement and solving financial problems. Job Responsibilities Accounting – end to end finance function for portfolio companies, including but not limited to reporting, tax, AP/AR, payroll, job costing, treasury management.Reconciliations – Balance Sheet reconciliations, reconciliations to internal systems.Tax compliance – responsible for preparing portfolio tax obligations (GST, PAYG, payroll tax).Monthly reporting – prepare monthly internal reporting, quarterly investor reporting and annual statutory reporting obligations for the portfolio companies.Stakeholder Management – Establish and manage stakeholder relationships across different functions of the portfolio companies to ensure business needs’ are being met.
