Are you looking to take the next step in your career?
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate, who is looking to join an inclusive and dynamic team. We are open to either full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) for the right person. We also offer flexible working arrangements.
We are looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in the area of employment and/or immigration law. It is preferred that you have experience in these areas, although we will consider applicants with 5 years post admission experience in other practice areas provided they have some experience in these areas.
The firm provides legal services to both business and individual clients in the areas of employment and immigration law. Our work includes complex advice and litigated matters.
The ideal candidate will have the skills to:
supervise and manage lawyers in their day-to-day work; and
work autonomously.
You will have access to all the mentoring support you need to develop your career long term.
This role truly offers career progression opportunities.
The Firm
We are a boutique practice specialising in employment/industrial relations and migration law. Our head office is in Sydney, and we have clients spread throughout Australia. We provide high quality legal services and work closely with our clients.
Our staff love coming to work, our culture is team driven with everyone playing their part. The Principal genuinely cares about the career development of each member of the team.
About You
You will be skilled at managing a busy practice, have an ability to supervise junior lawyers and to contribute to business development and marketing. You will have an eye for detail, an understanding of the importance of providing exceptional service, and a passion for employment and/or immigration law.
You will have at least 5 years’ private practice experience working in the areas of immigration and/or employment law. We will however consider experience in other areas in addition to employment and/or immigration.
A transportable practice is an advantage but not essential.

career growth opportunities; and
a firm with a great culture.
