Senior Medical Receptionist (Casual/Part-Time)

About the role

Russell Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Medical Receptionist to join our team in Macgregor, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar

• Handling patient enquiries and providing exceptional customer service

• Assisting with patient registration and medical record management

• Performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

• Collaborating with the medical team to ensure efficient clinic operations

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience in a medical reception or similar customer service role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, doctors and colleagues

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities

• Proficiency in medical terminology, scheduling software and electronic medical record systems

• A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

• Competent in words and excel

• 3-4 days a week
