THE POSITION

This role is responsible for managing the internal and external audit program, vendor qualification program, and computerised systems reviews. The position also supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing cGMP compliance. The role plays a key part in tracking and following up on quality issues, coordinating QMS activities, compiling metrics, and providing backup for various quality functions as needed. This role reports to the Quality Compliance Manager and does not have any direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

·       Manage the internal and external audit program, including acting as lead auditor for internal audits.

·        Oversee Computerised Systems Reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·        Manage the Vendor Qualification Program and maintain supplier compliance documentation.

·        Track and follow up on quality issues/actions in ZenQMS, including those related to deviations, OOS, audits, complaints, and inspections.

·        Compile and report on quality metrics and statistics to support continuous improvement.

·        Maintain and coordinate annual QMS schedules such as internal/external audits, GMP training, media fills, and APQR.

·        Support other Quality functions as needed, including complaint investigations, batch record review, change control, and product/material release.

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

·        Strong working knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality systems within the pharmaceutical or veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

·        Demonstrated experience in conducting internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up of audit findings.

·        Proficiency with electronic quality management systems (e.g., ZenQMS) and tracking of compliance actions.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

·        Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
