About The Role We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technology Project Manager to join our Assets & Digital Excellence team within the Assets and Digital division. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint. As a Senior Technology Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of technology initiatives across a range of systems owned by the Assets & Digital Excellence team that drive business outcomes across Essential Energy. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of technology changes aligned with our strategic pillar of ‘strengthening the core’, ensuring alignment with governance and quality standards. This includes overseeing budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and risk management in line with our project management methodology. You will play a key role in guiding specialist teams through the delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet project objectives. The role requires a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with Essential Energy’s policies, procedures, and procurement guidelines. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative technology solutions that support our transformation goals. About You You bring extensive experience in managing complex technology changes across corporate and IT environments with a focus on business outcomes. You are confident leading multidisciplinary teams through fast paced and high stakes projects with a proven ability to deliver results that align with strategic goals while maintaining clarity, structure, and accountability throughout project lifecycles. You’re skilled at navigating stakeholder priorities, influencing outcomes, and delivering clear, concise communication up to executive and board levels. Your background includes relevant qualifications in IT and project management, and you’re comfortable managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships in a dynamic, evolving setting. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications Desirable Project/Programme Management Certifications e.g. Prince2, PMBOK, MSP Technical Change Management Certifications e.g. ITIL, Agile, SDLC Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 11.5% superannuation.
