About the Role
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable public transport services for the people of Western Australia. We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Service Disruptions and Planning Officer to join our Transperth Service Planning team. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in planning and coordinating responses to both planned and unplanned disruptions affecting Transperth bus services. Your work will help minimise the impact on passengers during road closures, major rail replacement operations, and special events. This includes developing alternative bus routing solutions, liaising with Transperth bus contractors and key stakeholders, and assisting in the supervision of operations during peak periods and events. You will also support broader service planning efforts by analysing passenger data and identifying trends in public transport usage. Additionally, you will prepare reports, briefings, and official correspondence to inform and support service planning decisions.
