Gannon's develop and operate aged friendly communities providing homes and services to over 900 retirees in both South Australia and New South Wales. This includes communities located at Angle Vale, Tamworth, Griffith and Moonta Bay.

With a strong focus on resident satisfaction and seamless property transactions, the organisation is seeking a supportive and knowledgeable settlements professional to joint its team.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Settlements Officer is responsible for managing the settlement, conveyancing transactions and process across all communities.

You will work closely with the sales team and Estate Managers to ensure there is a positive resident experience throughout the process. Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparing and managing settlement and conveyancing documentation in accordance with relevant legislation.

  • Coordinating and overseeing settlement and resale processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

  • Acting as the primary contact for residents, their representatives, solicitors, and conveyancers regarding settlements.

  • Communicating clearly and empathetically to support residents and their representatives throughout the settlement process.

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and documentation related to settlements and resales.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to continuously improve policies, procedures and forms.

  • Supporting administrative functions, including reporting and document management related to settlements.

About You

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Experience in managing property settlement and conveyancing activities.

  • Understanding of SA & NSW Retirement Villages Acts and SA Residential Parks Act would be an advantage.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

  • Sound knowledge of database management and Office suite.

  • Proven ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions with sound judgement.
