Sign maker / General Fabricator

We are currently seeking an experienced Sign Maker to join our team. Role:

All our staff play key roles in our company, responsible for producing and fabricating a variety of signage products for many different projects. If you prefer a monotonous job, this isn't for you. If you enjoy a variety of work and challenges that keep you thinking, then this role is for you.

Specific tasks include:

• Liaising with all internal members to ensure the highest possible production standards
• Creating fabrication jigs & fixtures
• Light gauge sheet metal/Aluminum fabrication
• Plastic Fabrication
• Accurate stock control
• Product quality control
• Complying with all health and safety requirements
• Sign installations

Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence. If you lack attention to detail or dislike taking ownership of your work, this role may not suit you. Ideally, the candidate should have experience and competency working with the following:

• Sheet metal, aluminum, mild steel fabrication
• Plastic fabrication
• Working with Wood
• Accuracy with measurements, marking, and cutting from drawings
• Attention to detail and pride in work being performed
• Previous onsite sign installations
• Current QLD driver license and forklift license
• Genuine interest in custom manufacturing and signage
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
