About you; 

We are looking for a hard-working qualified plumber to join our team. You will be team orientated and have a positive attitude towards work, even when things get busy. You will have the ability to work both autonomously and to assist in the training of apprentices and offer your skills and knowledge to other members of staff. You take pride, initiative, and ownership in your quality of work. 

Qualities and Characteristics;

• Plumbers Licence (Open)

• Gas Fitters Licence (Open - desirable but not essential) 

• Construction Induction Card

• White/Blue Card

• C Class Licence

• Backflow & TMV tickets (desirable but not essential) 

• Excavator/machine operator ticket (desirable but not essential) 

• Strong communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Team orientated

The business and role;

BTP is a family-owned business founded by Sunshine Coast local Blair Tripcony with 12 years experience in the plumbing industry. Since its establishment in 2013 the company has experienced significant growth to offer both residential and commercial plumbing, drainage, gas-fitting services. BTP has a strong working relationship with many large suppliers and subcontractors and can source the high-quality materials and services at competitive rates.

As a qualified plumber your role will include; 

• Organising all assigned job details (ordering, paperwork QA & SWMS, completion of as constructed drawings)

• Managing daily tasks

• Completing jobs efficiently 

• Ordering gear and preparing site delivery prior to commencement of job

• Reading and interoperating drawings and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings.

• Liasing with builders and other trades to ensure timely flow of works

• Completion and submission of As Constructed drawings

On your successful appointment to the position, we will also include a sign-on bonus of $5,000.00. Please note specific terms and conditions apply to attaining the bonus which will be outlined during the interview process.
