We are seeking a skilled and strategic Solution/Application Architect with strong expertise in AWS and experience designing, modelling, and visualising enterprise and application architecture. This is a 12 month FT working onsite at one of our key clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business-translating requirements into scalable, cloud-native solutions and clearly articulating architectural direction to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

You'll work across multiple initiatives, guiding the end-to-end architecture process from conceptual models to implementation-ready designs.

By joining Tranzformd, you will be working with ASX listed companies on transformation strategies, initiatives and programs of work. This might include but is not limited to the following:

• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on AWS, aligned to enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Model and visualise architecture using tools such as Sparx EA, ArchiMate, Lucidchart, or Visio-clearly communicating structure, components, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leads to shape and validate solution designs.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear architecture artefacts including conceptual, logical, and physical diagrams.
• Ensure solutions adhere to architectural best practices, security requirements, and governance standards.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support to cross functional teams during implementation.
• Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, and design workshops across multiple projects.
• Influence and align architectural decisions with broader enterprise strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience as a Solution or Application Architect, particularly within cloud-based environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services.
• Proven experience in modelling and visualising architectures using tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills-able to present architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, integration patterns, and modern architecture styles.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery support.
