Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building commercial kitchens, custom refrigeration units, and benching, with a focus on precision craftsmanship and quality. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, cutting, welding, assembling, and installing stainless steel components to produce durable, functional, and high-quality commercial kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install stainless steel components for commercial kitchens, including countertops, cabinets, sinks, and other fixtures.

• Build custom refrigeration units according to specifications and client requirements.

• Construct and install commercial kitchen benching, workstations, and related fixtures.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.

• Measure, cut, weld, grind, and polish stainless steel materials to precise dimensions.

• Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and quality specifications.

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication or installation issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication, specifically for commercial kitchens and refrigeration.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, grinding, and polishing stainless steel.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and time management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with custom refrigeration and commercial kitchen benching

• Must have TIG Welding Experience

• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards related to commercial kitchen installations.

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced construction or fabrication environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in a workshop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.
