As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our business. Tasks & responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies against invoices.
- Unload vehicles, unpack goods, and prepare them for storage.
- Utilize computer systems to track stock locations and quantities.
- Label goods with storage details to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Pack, weigh, and seal boxes for dispatch.
- Operate machinery for lifting and placing goods at high levels, and use specialized equipment like order pickers to manage stock.
- Assist with regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Use equipment such as pallet lifters and hand trucks to safely move goods around the warehouse if needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field.
- At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management tasks.
- A current drivers licence.
- A valid Forklift (FL) license.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a positive team-oriented mindset.
