Strategic Projects Communications Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Projects and Communications Specialist to join a leading financial services organisation for a six-month temporary assignment, starting as early as next week. This role is perfect for someone available for an immediate start who is passionate about making a real impact through strategic people communications.

About the role:

• Develop a comprehensive communications strategy to support high-profile strategic projects.
• Craft communications for critical moments, ensuring the right tone, clarity, and alignment with organisational values.
• Lead the connection between tactical execution and strategic positioning, ensuring that communication at every stage supports the broader project goals.
• Provide advice and support to team members, helping to prioritise tasks and deliver project-specific communication needs.
• Ensure all communications records and documentation are maintained in accordance with internal policies and legislative requirements.

About You:

• You are available to start immediately.
• You have proven experience delivering communications for people-focused change projects.
• You can independently drive communication strategies for change initiatives, offering clear advice without needing heavy direction.
• You are confident working autonomously, partnering with senior stakeholders and leading communications initiatives.
• You are agile, resilient, and adaptable, able to pivot quickly and effectively when project plans shift.
