About the role

Ready to make an impact on council’s workforce and employee experience? 

Join the Talent Acquisition Team and support the recruitment of new employees and assist current employees as they progress through their careers at council.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Organise the recruitment and selection of employees including preparing job advertisements, organising interviews and onboarding of new employees
  • Provide advice and support to employees and managers with people and culture enquiries
  • Prepare correspondence and liaise with internal and external customers
  • Maintain the human resource system and track people and culture data

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in an administrative or recruitment role
  • Sound communication skills to liaise clearly with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment with a focus on the customer, while ensuring accuracy
  • Initiative to problem solve and continually look for ways to improve the employee experience

About the benefits

This is a fixed term position until January 2026 with a salary commencing at $80,959 plus 12.5% superannuation.

Part time and job share arrangements will be considered for this role to fill the role on a full time basis.
