We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our office located in Melbourne's CBD. � This is a full time and permanent role, working in our Worker's Compensation team.

  • Responsibilities of the Team Leader role include but are not limited to:
  • Providing day-to-day management and technical support to your team ensuring the delivery of a cost effective, professional and customer focused claims service by managing the workflow of the team.

  • Developing staff and implementing quality initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of your team ensuring delivery of client focused workers' compensation claims service
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Analyse team performance trends and remedial action to resolve issues where required
  • Achieve target remuneration in performance measures through improving claims management outcomes, specifically medical and like.

About you

Required: High school diploma and a minimum 10 years related claim experience. Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled. Knowledge of all team member related functions.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Behaviors: Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to organize, motivate and lead a team towards flawless execution of client service instructions and performance guarantees. Ability to actively review work of others via file reviews; identify coaching opportunities, act on needed coaching opportunities and position subordinates for successful development leading to advancement within the organization.

Other behaviors as found in the Claims Adjuster Lead position as to individual file handling.
