About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded technician to join our growing team at iScoot, Australia’s leading retailer of eRides.
You’ll be servicing and repairing a wide range of electric scooters and eBikes, helping keep our riders moving safely and smoothly.
In this workshop-based role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, repairs and general maintenance. You’ll also be supporting our retail and service team by ensuring all customer vehicles are in top condition and ready to roll.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on eScooters and eBikes, including motors, batteries, controllers and electronic components.
Replacing tyres, brake pads, drivetrains, and other key parts as needed.
Conducting preventative maintenance and safety checks.
Communicating clearly with customers about service needs and repair timelines.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Supporting the retail floor team with product knowledge and basic tech support.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in eScooters, eBikes, bikes, motorbikes, or similar.
Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Great attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
Full-time availability and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Bonus if you:
Have previous experience working in a bike or scooter workshop
Own an eRide or are genuinely passionate about the industry
Are confident upselling additional parts or services when needed
