Technician - small engines.

The RedShed is a well established business with over 23 years experience, we have 7 retail stores with onsite workshops to support our customers with sales, repairs and servicing of their outdoor power equipment. We sell & repair Ride-on Mowers, Lawn Mowers, Chainsaws, Log splitters with industry leading brands such as Honda, Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, Hustler, Rover, RedGum, Masport, Greenworks & Kress.

We are looking for a small engine Technician to join our team in our Dandenong store.  This is a full-time position with the combination of mechanical duties and assisting with customer sales as required. If you are a Technician / mechanic who is motivated, proud of their trade and has had experience working on small engines then this is the role for you!

You will need to have:
 The ability to work as part of a team in a busy workshop.
 Ability to produce good quality work and to be accountable for your
work.
 Good at diagnosing and solving problems.
 Experience in servicing and repairing small engines and outdoor
garden equipment.
 Knowledge and training in safety procedures of a workshop
environment.
 Availability to work weekends if required during busy periods. 
Overtime rates apply.
 The ability to manage your time for maximum productivity.

Specific duties would include:
 Servicing and repairing lawnmowers, ride-ons, chainsaws,
brush cutters, log splitters, generators and chippers.
 Report to the Store Manager.
 Mentoring and assisting apprentices as the need arises.
