Trade Assistant

We are currently looking for a permanent trade assistant for our workshop.

Duties

• Assist our machinists on both the manual and cnc lathes and mill. We are willing to train the person as needed so long as they have the correct attitude and willingness to learn.

• Assist fabricators as and when necessary.

• Assist with the daily workshop including basic assembly of mechanical equipment.

• Assist in packing and dispatch of goods

• Daily workshop housekeeping.

• It is important that the person has good English both verbal and written

Most important will have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
Support in all functions within our workshop.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team

• Can do attitude and willingness to help with all functions in the workshop.

• The right to work in Australia.

• Own vehicle and Australin driver’s licence.

• Forklift licence not essential but will be viewed favourably.
