Trades Assistants - AM Shift - $38 p\u002Fhr – Sydney CBD

Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Electrical Trades Assistants for to start on Tuesday 8th of April in a project located in Barangaroo next to Sydney CBD. Day shift, Monday to Friday paying $38 p/hr.
These roles will start on Tuesday the 8th of April and continue until May. There is a possibility for extension after depending on the completion of works required for this project.

A National brand specialising in the Audio Visual industry, located in Greenacre

• Barangaroo location
• Monday to Friday role
• 6:45am – 4pm shift
• $38 p/hr + Super
• Weekend overtime also available!
• No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency!

The Role: Trades Assistant

This role is construction site based. 
 
This role will see you completing Trades Assistant based work assisting trades people and builders in installing Audio Visual equipment such as brackets and speakers, cabling systems and electrical components.  

Your main duties will involve:

• Assisting trades people onsite
• Installing equipment
• Assisting the installation team in installing theatre staging and equipment such as speaker brackets and hoists
• Assisting cabling and wiring for hoists and equipment
• Use of both hand and power tools
• Following and reading plans

Shift Available:
Day:

• 6:45am starts
• 4pm finishes
• Monday to Friday
• $38 p/hr + Super

 
The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

• Site based Trades Assistant experience is a must
• Must have a construction white card
• EWP ticket 11m+
• Hand and power tool experience is a must
• Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
• Must be able to commit to these roles for the duration of the project
