A traineeship in Certificate III Timber Frame and Truss Manufacture (FWP30920) is the perfect fit for you!

Join our team in crafting house frames, wall frames and roof trusses in a factory setting, where you'll help build the foundation for homes. You'll gain hands-on experience and earn a qualification in just 18-24 months.
  
This hands-on traineeship not only promises a practical learning experience but also paves the way for a promising future with plenty of growth including learning carpentry and manufacturing applications.

What you will learn:

• Manufacturing of timber house frames and trusses, using saw operations
• Physical loading of timber for machining
• Successful and safe use of hand tools
• Interpretation of house plans
• Correct measurement of timber to cut to profile
• Quality control and quantity control, ensuring waste management and accuracy

Preferred Requirements

• A passion for learning and a keen interest in the trades / building sector
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks efficiently
• Possession of own transport is highly beneficial (p's is fine)

Please note that traineeship pay rates apply whilst training

As a trainee undertaking this qualification may be eligible for up to $1750 at 6 and 12 months and $750 at 18 and 24 months
