Your role:

As a Transport Operations Coordinator, you play a critical role in providing direct support to ADF operations and exercises.

You will help manage complex operations, from coordinating the movement of small specialist groups of personnel, to large scale and complex deployments of entire ADF units on international operations and exercises, by land, air and sea assets.

Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Movement planning, control and reporting
  • Arrange individual and group travel for personnel during operations and exercises
  • Arrange movement of vehicles and equipment by road, rail, sea and air (military and contracted assets)
  • Perform movement control functions at staging areas, airfields, ports and terminals
  • Work alongside Air Force, Navy, Government & Non Government agencies and foreign military logistics personnel

Location:

Following your initial military training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. The majority of these positions are located in Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.

Salary:

In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.

On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $80,549 per annum plus generous super.
