Vehicle Body Maker / Modification Worker

Just Commercial Automotive Pty Ltd is a reputable and well-established organization that has been in operation for more than 15 years. We are going through a period of fast growth and are looking for an experienced vehicle body maker / modification worker (Full Time) to join our expanding team in Springvale.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Ø Inspect damaged vehicles and estimate the repair work required.

Ø Remove damaged panels and components using welding equipment, cutting tools, and hand tools.

Ø Repair or replace body panels, chassis components, mudguards, and bumpers.

Ø Use specialist equipment to realign vehicle structures and frames.

Ø Fit new panels and parts, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

Ø Carry out surface preparation, including sanding and priming for painting.

Ø Mix and apply automotive paints using spray painting equipment.

Ø Reassemble vehicles after repair and painting are complete.

Ø Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.

Ø Liaise with team members and managers to ensure quality and timely delivery of repair services.

 Required Skills & Experience:

Ø Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent.  

Ø At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Ø Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.  

Ø Strong attention to detail.  

Ø Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.  

Ø Good communication and teamwork skills.
