About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the warehouse, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting the overall logistics process, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The main responsibilities include but not limited to:
Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the warehouse team, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and conducting regular inventory audits.
Order Processing:
Coordinate order processing activities, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining high levels of service.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order statuses, and shipping metrics, to support management decision-making
Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding warehouse operations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards related to warehouse operations
Training Support:
Assist in onboarding and training new warehouse staff on administrative procedures and systems.
The requirements and skills for this role include:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Valid Forklift License is required.
Proven experience in warehouse administration or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with warehouse management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of inventory management and logistics principles is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
